I wasn't happy with any lighting shots so I may enter oxymoron if I have time. I also plan to state my oxymoron in the title.

Edit: hmm, will we be judged as to whether the oxymoron really is an oxymoron? Maybe it's best to not bother with this one. I don't want to be voted down if the voters decide the phrase I selected isn't quite an oxymoron.

Example: Almost finished appears to be an oxymoron but if you consider "almost" is an adjective, then almost finished, or almost anything isn't a true oxymoron according to the //www.topskills.com/oxymorons.htm link listed above.

EDIT again: OK, Jumbo Shrimp falls into the "almost" category described above and it is used in the challenge description. Jumbo is an adjective too. I guess I'll stop over-thinking this and submit if I have time.

Hi Roba,

You must be an "Honest Lawyer" - talking about oxymorons!

Thank you for your fast and precise answer, will reshoot with F/0.5 then to make the same effect!

Honest... yes. Lawyer... no :O)

Good luck with the reshoot - will be interesting to see how close you can get to the original try!

I am using Picasa2 (yes, I know ...) and I have used the function called

"Soft Focus: Softens focus around a center point"

Does that violate spot editing in Basic? It is done over the whole crop of the picture, but obviously not equally all over.

I want to submit this picture but I do not want a DQ, so can someone please give me an answer that will hold up in DPCourt, please?

Just thinking of this, the world is filled with oxymorons. How about a "100% crop" :-)

Well - I am in if only so that I have something for the MS tournament. I had another idea but just didnt feel like taking the time to set it up. I hope mine qualifies as an oxymoron. It was on that big list but I felt many were borderline or a stretch at least.

This was actually my first thought and since I work on a Marine Corps base I should be able to get at least one lol. I have an idea but need a tank...hmmm

I'm entering the other challenge if Lesley is submitting for this one!
She's stealing all the blues! (not that I'm near a blue, but she's just pushing me down the ladder with her wins :p )
