The Entry


And here's the only other one out of about 100 photos I considered using.

Bits and Pieces Outtake

Just wasn't as interesting to me and there were some distracting elements. Such as the light coloured area on the backround to the left.

I think I made the right choice.

I like your first test shot the best, maybe with a little cropped off the right side. The others have an "artwork" feel that DPC voters tend to frown upon (even though you did well with your entry).

This was a test shot that actually looked pretty good:


Here's a series playing around with different size crops and negative space:


And one that came closest to my entry. This was from my first shooting session; if I hadn't run out of time and been able to get it sharp, this idea would've been my entry:

Anybody like any of those more than my entry?
