Maybe you should start outsourcing your work from time to time :) That, or get an assistant that wouldn't mind doing this for you in exchange for knowledge and some part-time salary.

So you want to be pro? YOu want to deliver the best srevice possible, right?

It's inevitable, when it rains it pours.
For 2 weeks in June I sit and stare idly out the window (well, you know what I mean, right?)
So Friday I get an order for a duplicate album from a wedding last summer, that was easy.
Saturday I shoot a wedding.
Sunday I get an email with a list of the prints wanted in an album from a May wedding - 24 pages to get to work on there. And a DVD with hi res, lo res and the album pages and formals.
Today I get an email from a senior's mom - she's got her order ready - can she have them by Friday? (umm...no?)

YOu know what makes this real fun? My wife is off today for the Holiday weekend so we had plans, and I have a friend coming over tomorrow to work on his car - so there are pretty much 2 days of no work getting done. My mother in low is coming into town Thurdsay and we are going away for 4 days to visit family in Indiana.

I was gonna get the wedding proofs done by Wednesday and the family is large and we did some formal shots they want to buy - so they have to o the web too, full edited, on a site i have not built yet. FIne, but add in the senior order and that gets tight, and well, the albums will have to wait until next week. Next week I meet with 2 more bride to be's and have a HS senior shoot.

And I have my kids with me all day - can you say 'distraction'?

Nice to be busy, but this is too busy!
