Mine was proudly given to me by mr James Stanton, AKA Rex. And it's been past one year already. Been willing to come back as a paid member, but currently I cannot allow myself to it.

Strange, because covering a cellular phone with tinfoil kills its signal completely.

I don't think we're talking about the same type of signal. Forgive my ignorance; but I believe they are microwaves and nothing can stop them. I'll see if I can find a link. Anybody else know?

If it's anything like what happens when you put tinfoil in the microwave oven I think we're screwed!

Man, that Maestro is one sad sad individual... I honestly feel sad for the person, why would someone feel the need to go through so much trouble to cause other people a lot of work and time? Gotta agree with Kavey, I guess I´ll never figure out what makes some people tick...

Anyway, enough about that and I just wanna give Langdon a high five for offering Idnic the chance to give someone else a membership, as busy as he must be he still remembered this and made sure a wrong was made right. Congrats on your new membership cutlassdude70, good timing too for the WPL2, I have no doubt you´ll make the most of it :)

Cheers for Cindi and Langdon!

Thanks! Excellent timing indeed. :) It's so awesome that I'll actually have a membership heading into the future weeks of the WPL2. :D Now I need to make sure to bring my A-game! [Goes and listens to podcast again for tips] ;)

Wow! I can't believe someone would prey on the goodness of others in such a way...it's like stealing from a church collection box!

And this is why it pays to ask SC if you see something fishy. :)

Unfortunately, I never noticed anything fishey - I'm too gullible I suppose, but I tend to take people at their word and am rarely suspicious of people. :/ Lessons learned!

I'm pretty darn suspicious by nature but I didn't notice anything fishy either. Don't feel bad. That said I haven't had as much time to read the forum lately and maestro is a character I hadn't seen many posts from.

I didn't really give it much thought until I put up a post offering a gift membership.

MaestroRodhamClintonSaddamShaquilleDaleEarnhardtJr put her name in the hat. I went through her recent challenge entries and saw that the Desolation shot's processing was eerily similar to her previous personality's Environmental Portrait image. In fact, when I viewed only the thumbnails, they looked almost identical. At first I chalked it up to coincidence but when I read the photogs comments on her challenge entries they matched up perfectly to her old entry's comments.

When she changed her name to the one before maestro I thought she was trying to start over. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and actually replied to her emailed questions with photos on how to shoot with reversed lenses (before I posted a tutorial). It wasn't long after that until her true self came out again. After she removed herself from dpc I read a post in another forum about how badly corrupt this site is. I won't go into it (many of you probably saw it) but needless to say, she really does have a problem.

I truly hope she straightens herself out. She doesn't have the ability to accept views that differ from hers and will not hesitate to personally attack someone if she doesn't agree with you. She's the type that will ask for a comment on a photo and when you give it to her she'll tell you how wrong you are. I feel that she is starting to learn what makes a good photograph and it would be a shame for her to let that fall by the wayside because of a personality issue. However, I do find it hypocritical for her to hide behind a new user name just to participate on a site that she deems to be so corrupt and biased.

I have removed any case where a member mentions an actual name of this X-member. I just want it to be known that the SC nor the admin have mentioned ANY names and if the members here want to make assumptions, that's fine, however, please do not mention any names. You never know...you COULD be wrong, so since you do not know fact, just assume. K?
