Next time the All-Star Game heads to Baltimore, perhaps they'll be seeking this shot!

I think if you got that shot at night/twilight again, with people filling up the stands, then you're golden. IMO, not as impressive as the PNC one, and those are the qualities that put you over the top. I think there's something psychological about an empty versus full stadium.

Thanks Alan citing my shot of Camden Yards. I'll be watching for your shot in the pubs you mentioned.

I agree that a full house adds to most stadium shots. Normally I'd say the same for a twilight/night shot but, IMHO, the sky in this one was pretty cool and added to the impact of the shot. Unfortunately I don't have access to the Press Box during games, just during the early afternoon ballpark tour.

I have a feeling I'll remember to post a reminder... not to mention a reminder to everyone I've ever met since kindergarten! :)

Just got a few tidbits of new news... the full-page ad in USA Today will appear on Tuesday, July 11 (the date of the All-Star Game)... and the full-page ad in Sports Illustrated will appear in a double-issue due to hit stands around July 3.

ALSO... I just got a message that Chevy wants to use the shot in TV commercial! They want to use it in an ad that will run on ESPN and FOX and will run a total of 10 months!

Yeesh, haven't even been following my own thread -- thought it had died before this :)

The shot will comfortably pay for our summer vacation. I gave them a price, and they actually offered more than what I asked, so I undoubtedly could have gotten much more for it. My wife's exact words were "don't get greedy."

I'm much more excited about the opportunity to be published in these high-profile places than I am about getting a check, to be honest!

I'll definitely let everyone know when to watch for it!

So how did it work out?

Thanks for sharing your excitement with us! It's fun knowing that someone we know is doing so well. What a great feather in your cap! It will be great to follow this photo through to when it comes out with all the publishing. I hope you make a bundle for it!

Buy a copy of FotoQuote, it will pay for itself in this one sell.

You should get AT LEAST 5K. 50,000 brochures and a full page ad in two of the most read magazines/newspapers in the country? I would say start high, at say, 10k, and see if they take it (I think they will). If they dont then you work your way down a little, but if they do.....well think of all the new lenses you could buy : )

Let us know how it works out.

Wow I sure dont know Photo prices because 3-5k seems low for all the programs, plus 2 full page ads in 2 of the most most read mags/papers in the US.
Dude this is huge, huh!
