Great story. You could have unsubmitted from the other challenge and then submitted to this one if you'd wanted to do that ... you can change from one to the other up until the voting starts.

Great story and a good picture. Just think...someone who couldn't even see, helped you get a shot!

***you may want to rotate the shot a little to the right.***

Edit: If this was entered and "straight" I would have given a 7.

Last Saturday I went out to take my photograph for Night Shot III. I already had a few plans of ideas for different subjects in the city so I caught the train in which for me is about a 50 minute ride as I live so far out. Plan A really didn't work out too well so on to Plan B which involved a ferry crossing to the otherside of the harbour & getting a photograph looking back toward the shoreline with all the buildings & especially the Sky Tower.
As I waited for my ferry to arrive, I noticed a blind man sitting alone. When The ferry arrived, everyone was ignoring him & I wondered how he would find his way on to the ferry so I went over & asked if he needed a hand. I think he was very happy that someone did. So on we went. We chatted on the way over to the other side. During the conversation he asked what I was doing in the city & I told him I was there to take photographs for the Night Shot III challenge. He told me that he hadn't always been blind & knew where to get the shot I was looking for. Coincedently it was quite near to where he was heading & as there was no one waiting for him on the otherside of the ferry crossing I ended up helping him reach his destination & found a great vantage point for the photographs I took. I helped him navigate through the streets & side walk cafes & he navigated me to the top of Mt Victoria.I'm glad he knew where we were going because I had no idea. I think it was a case of the blind leading the blind. Anyway here's the photograph I was going to enter.
