I'm not having many time last days, so it's difficult to process the photos I shot in london. The first one you can see is my Lens cap image. Not good, but I couldn't thing of anything better. I'll post more images some day...

Yes, I'll tell when we have photos online.
No, we finally didn't go to greenwich. We eat so much that were sleeping till too late, and I was confused about the time we have to leave London, so we couldn't go. We'll try next time we go.

Hi all. Thank you very, very much for meeting us in London. It was a lovely dinner (and as you can see in Kavita's post, plenty of food). The restaurant was great. By the way, Kavita, thanks for posting the names of the food, now we now next time what to ask for.
When we have some time (I'm not sure when will that be) we'll post some of the photos we took.
That was our fist meeting with some DPCers and was great. Now we're waiting for the next one in Münster next july.
Thanks.
Álex and Inma.

Lovely to meet Alex and Inma tonight and to see Matt and June again (though we did see them only yesterday). Not a typical GTG as we didn't do any photography (other than a few snapshots) but we certainly ate a LOT of chinese food.
For anyone feeling hungry we had mixed starters which included capital spare ribs, sesame prawn toasts, spring rolls, satay chicken skewers, crispy seaweed and then crispy duck in pancakes with hoi sin sauce. For mains we had chicken in black bean sauce, crispy shredded chilli beef, cantonese duck, choi sum in oyster sauce, deep fried scallops and lots of egg fried rice and noodles. YUM!

Table booked for 7 people at 6 pm under name KAVITA.
Asked for one in window so whoever gets there first, try and make sure we get that if not already occupied. I'll try and get there first myself.
To make sure you recognise me:

That was what I suposed...
I'm happy to meet all of you.
By the way, how are we gonna recognize each other? Should I wear my canon with the bigger lense I have (70-300 IS) with full zoom?
Just joking. I think we will recognized you by the wedding pictures.
Oh, and you can recognize me by this shot by Inma:
Yes, it's me!!! Any problem??
EDIT: that was what I suposed BEFORE Kavita answered me.

OK, let's meet at Gerrard's Corner, a chinese restaurant in China Town - corner of Gerrard Street and Wardour Street.
Looks like there will be 7 of us...
Kavita and hub (Ganders), Chiqui, Manic, Srichmond, Álex and Imagine
If everyone confirms, I'll go ahead and make a booking - is 6pm OK?

Very nice.

Alex, I can find a Thai no problem but it wouldn't be a personal recommendation as I don't know any specific places centrally - I happen to know a good Chinese place in China Town.
But I'd be happy to find a Thai place... no problem!

I'm certainly in town, but it is my birthday that day, and I have a strong suspicion my SO has something planned, so don't expect me! I'd be glad to be kept up to date with arrangements though, just in case my suspicions are groundless.

Hello everybody!
I am Inma, Alex'wife. I am really delighted about meeting DPCers. I am not so active as you in taking pictures, but I share a great interest about it.
Thanks Kavita for giving the support arranging practical things.
So, it is going to be a good meeting, by now, those are in the list: Kavita, Chiqui, Manic, Srichmond, Álex and myself
e301 said he wanted to come, we will PM him to find out if he can finally join the meeting
Anyone else wants to join us?
Inma

You're great Kavita. We would love going to a Thai, because in our zone in Spain we have not many opportunities to go to this kind of places, but if you preffer Chinese would be perfect for us.
Thanks for arranging all this.

Alex, oh no problem coming in - I live in North London and come into the centre of town at least a few days a week either for work (I'm a freelancer so it varies) or to meet friends as I have several friends who live in all corners of London.
Dinner it is then...
Do you fancy Chinese (I know a nice one in China Town, Manic and June know it too as I arranged a GTG there once) or would you prefer Italian, Thai, French? Give me an idea of preferences and I'll suggest somewhere.

Very good. We can meet for dinner for example. We can have a meal with you even if the others preffer to have a drink. It's so nice you come to meet us from a long way...
Thanks.

As it's a bit of a trip down to central London for me (about 45-60 mins depending on tube performance) I'd be up for meeting for a meal...
I'm open to either lunch or dinner, whichever suits people most...
I'd be happy to suggest and book somewhere once we know when and how many...
