Did you hear the Deftones version of Sade's Ordinary Love? It's wonderful!

Although I am a huge Weezer fan, I prefer Travis's cover of the same song - you can hear how much fun they're having with it...
Also, other ones I thought of:
-Fiona Apple's cover of "Across the Universe" by The Beatles [plays out at the end of the movie Pleasantville]
-The Flying Lizards' cover of "Money (That's What I Want)" by the Beatles [used in Empire Records and tons of other movies, including a great Standard Bank TV ad here in S.Africa many years ago]
and
-Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole's cover medley of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"/"What A Wonderful World" [used in 50 First Dates and countless TV shows] |

I have to agree with this one. Tis brilliant.
Hmmm...favourite cover would have to be (I know it was mentioned before) Stevie Ray Vaughans version of Little Wing. Stunning!

And let's not forget, that giant tribute to absurdity, that affront to all that is good and right about rock music...Pat Boone covering "Stairway to Heaven".

Same song, different artist. Love Jeff Buckley's version.
I love all of Leonard Cohen's music....when he's not singing it. |
I love Elisa’s version ( but Jeff Buckley's version is great too )
