I greatly enjoy worth1000.com -- it's where I found out about DPC. Now, of course, I've spent all of my time here and totally neglected worth1000. I should see what's been going on.....

Just what I need -- more distractions! Fun!

That looks like good fun :)
I think I might try my hand at entering some of them.

hey thanks for the link! i went and signed right up. hey jaxomlotus :)

i like to mix it up a bit so i'm not averse to the total change of pace between the 2 sites.

looking forward to participating. main glitch for me is going to be getting enough time to add another activity to my already laden featureset :P ..

thanks, yes - the main difference between worth and dpc is the topics. worth is a manipulation contest site, whereas dpc is a photography contest site. Different strokes for different folks (and a bunch of our members do play here as well).

Looks interesting but being around this crowd (dpc) for a couple months now makes me think the people here want as little manipulation as possible. More of a purist photograph here than editing competitions. My first question would be "How'd they do that?" lol Some of them on worth1000.com are amazing!!!

i run worth1000. there isn't any cheating here - we actually model our vote monitoring system after DPC's.

Cool, from what I've seen briefly it looks OK. I like the ability create anything but then again it may be impossible for an "amature" (like me) to ever win. :) I saw something about bidding, etc., not sure what that's about yet. But if it comes down to actually winning something, then you'll find there will be a lot of cheaters, corruption to a degree, etc., so I wouldn't be interested in that.

Thanks for the link anyway.

I really like this website and I thought I would share another that I just discovered that is sure to be another favorite of mine. This one is more into digital manipulation but there is some amazing creativity on these pages. Enjoy.....//www.worth1000.com
