i liked the third image because the rocks weren't flat (level with the horizon), which seemed to be a bit boring. the third shot has more implied "action".

apologies on the comments about lenses, etc. didn't realize you didn't have a DSLR... not sure what you can do about it in that case, but your sensor or lens is definitely dirty.

Definite potential here with a telephoto lens. I agree with davmct on most parts of his analysis. I do think with a close up #1,2 would be compositionally better, but this far off its hard to tell. With a closer focus you could crop the image into the rule of thirds giving the subject somewhere to go

first thought is that you need a better lens to get closer in on the action. the colour in the third shot is a bit muted for some reason.
the first shot, i think the timing is a little off, only because of the composition/layout of where the cloud is. it would have been better if the action was against a solid blue backdrop, and the cloud off to the side. also, in the first shot, i'm not so sure i like the position of the sail in relation to the horizon, but oh well, not much you could do about that.
the 2nd shot is probably the best of the series from a technical perspective, but the third one would have bene the best from a compositional perspective.
also, either your lens (or more likely) your sensor is dirty, this is especially evident in the third shot. you need to clean it, i'd recommend buying one of those air blower thingys to blow the dust out.
