Hey all!
It's yet another South African here!
I'm from Joey's and very proud of it.
I live on the smallholdings between Benoni and Kempton Park, in an area called Bredell.
Sometimes I get that Ansel Adams kinda feeling and go wandering around on the dirt roads (dirt roads - remember them?), between the sheep and fields of vegetables.
Aah.
I love this country...

Only found this thread now...

I'm from Fourways in Johannesburg.
(But grew up on the West Rand. Anyone from the West Rand on here? No, not Krugersdorp... way further west than that! :-) )

This was actually quite an entertaining thread. I especially liked the CIA facts from Skiprow.
Although I see that as a South African, I have a life expectancy of 43 years. Damn - I'm already past halfway.

Guess that means I better get on with the photo taking...

Hi there! Sorry so slow on replying! It gets quite hectic here sometimes and my internet just hasn't been great over the past couple of weeks. This has been my first night to get a decent connection where I can actually browse! Sad hey?

Currently I am living in KweKwe, smack bang in the middle of the country! A small, generally quiet town.

Originally though I am an Aussie girl and followed my man back to his home country and we've been here together now for 3 years.

Things are getting tougher and tougher in this place though, especially when you are called 'white filth'! But I don't want to make this a political thing!

Doesn't seem to be so many white sticking around lately and most people ask us (my b/f and I) what the hell we are doing here but we're sticking it out for the time being!

Might soon end up in South Africa for a while if the heat gets too much!

Sorry again for the late, late reply!

Di
