So sorry, Neil! I know how awful losing a parent is and how you must be feeling. Our thoughts will be with you. If you want to come up any other time we'd be really pleased to see you and your partner/wife.

Take care and love

Hi folks!

Getting towards the date we set for the Yorkshire GTG.
Just to let all those who were keen to come up to see us that we will be contacting people this w/e and checking out who is coming.
We have got a rough agenda sorted out and we'll put that up for thoughts on this thread soon.
Already heard from Benhur that he wants some early morning misty hill shots so if anyone has got definite wishes let us know asap. so we can incorporate them in the planning.
Looking forward to seeing people and hoping the weather fits in with our plans - pretty dull & damp up here at present!
Regards
Pauline & John

Definitely not the weekend before for me, as I'm taking photos at my favourite music festival, Whitby Musicport.

Why not the weekend BEFORE? Having said that i'm good for any of these, as long as it is a friday afternoon i travel on.

Aw, LOL! Well, it looks like I may be free anyway. You're right, bonfire night is no good.

go back to 27/28/29th Oct - our preferred date.
Who needs to meet a bobster type person anyway - I'd just disappear in the reflected glow.
Really fix the weekend of 27/28/29.
All welcome

Bonfire night?

Bonfire night is really a family event. I wouldn't get my ticket stamped to come for that event. This is getting difficult!

Might also be worth keeping an eye on Manic's London GTG thread. If some of the Southerners (such as Manic himself) are planning to attend the Yorkshire GTG it wouldn't work if it was same date as the London one!

Just a thought for you - it's likely I won't be able to attend either this time around!

Thanks for the reply

See what age does for you - makes you miss all sorts of things. OK Bob, the house is here with several spare rooms, we are here almost all of the time, suggest alternative dates.

last weekend in October was suggested.
Have sick mother-in-law problems at the moment, my wife (riponlady) is away in London.
If everyone interested would like to reply re Oct 27/28/29th availability.
Lets see if we can make it go.

Do we have a speculative date yet?
