I spent 3 yrs on Asherons Call
2 yrs on City of Heroes (husband has his account still)
1+ yr on Star Wars Galaxies
I'm currently on 8-9 months on World of Warcraft.

Stand alone games
1. Age of Empires (all of them)
2. Counterstrike
3. Sims 2 +all expansions

I used to be a heavy gamer but decided to cut back when got serious about photography. Games suck way to much of my useful time away.

Surprised to see so many MMPORG fans here, used to play a few of them.. Too bad they are soo addicting:((

I like the more solo friendly type of MMPORGS like SWG, COH and AC1..

So I might pick up Guild Wars, since it's in a similar direction.

Lately I’ve been playing a game called Centrisoft. It’s an intricate roll playing game where good guys (Engineers) do our best to create a massively complex software product, while bad guys (QA Geeks) do their best to tear it apart and force the Engineers to rebuild it. Meanwhile, other players (CEOs, CTOs, etc.) interact with the Engineers and QA Geeks in various ways. Sometimes they help, and sometimes not. For instance, a CEO might bring in a batch of investment money, which is a big help for all of the players. On the other hand, if s\he fails to bring in enough investment money, then the game can be over for everybody real quick. They are also the ones that hand out monetary rewards and other fabulous prizes. CTOs schedule meetings. Too many meetings and the Engineers and QA Geeks spin their wheels and get nothing done. Too few meetings and the Engineers sometimes go off on tangents, developing weird components that may not fit the software product (I actually enjoy it when this happens.) There are other rolls too, like Sales Weenie or Marketing Weenie, but I don’t even pretend to know much about their parts. I’ve heard that they spend most of their time telling lies and drinking alcohol, but that’s just hearsay.

Anyway, it‘s really an exciting and difficult game. But, it can consume waaaay too much of your time if you let it. That’s been my problem lately. I’ve been spending so much time playing the game that I haven’t taken a photo for weeks!

At the end of the nineties I played Grand Prix 2 (very good F1 simulation, far better then any of the EA Games crap) until I couldn't bend my pink and the finger next to it anymore from my right hand.
It took a while to recover from that and I still need to watch my ergonomic position very carefully, so I never played a PC game ever since.
