I saw this on the forum at Fred Miranda:

Try to disable the 'Data Execution Protection' in the bios and see if that fixes the problem for now.

I have just upgraded my computer to a 64 bit AMD CPU on an Soltek Motherboard and for some unknown reason the Nikon Capture will not install.

It stops instalation and goes to a blue screen with white writing before rebooting.

Would any one have any ideas why this would happen?

Sorry to be off topic (Photography) but I can't edit photos in NEF without it and Adobe won't open them either now.
