THANKS EVERYONE!!!! For all your comments and scores. This ribbon means a lot to me being my first (and a blue one), and for being the first blue ribbon in the Fujifilm S5100 page.
Congratulations!!! to the others who did well and participated in the challenge. There were wonderful pictures there.

A lot of people assume I added a texture overlay, but I did not. I replied with proof within a couple hours of the DQ alert. But it's still not been validated? (Though I know it eventually will as it was taken within the time period and no editing done, except re-sizing for submission.)

???

Can people still vote? Don't want my score to be hurt?

I think it is left up and people can still vote on it white the SC decides on whether to validate it or not, it will only be taken down if they decide to dq it... but if I'm wrong someone please correct me.

I was higher...but a steady drop today. I got to get out of this hole!

My experiance has been about 24 hours or so for it to show up on your submission - if it just happened - it may not show up before the end of voting ...

This late in the challenge? It's almost over...I thought most dq requests were done in the begging to middle of the challenge, just seems kind of late to hurry and get everything validated.

Is it just me, or is there an unusual low amount of votes on this challenge? Voting ends tonight and I only have 186 votes? Where as my "In the Beginng" shot already has 247 and "Rubber Ducky" even has more with 198?

No, not just you. I think voting for Cemetery pretty much slowed down last Wednesday a.m. and after Ducky came to a near halt. I've got 193 votes for cemetery and quite a few more for Ducky.

Rex,
If you make a pact to comment on every picture, what's the point of keeping your identity hidden during voting? :)

Agreed. It is silly and just plain "ghoulish" for people to keep on with the puns. Make them stop.

Not on your life! I love a morbid sense of humor!
Keep 'em comin' or we'll all be zombied out by the end of the voting period.

They say puns are the lowest form of humor. For this challenge I'd say lowest was about "six feet under".

I can fathom that...

I can dig it!

Though a lot of participants are in the "spirit" of the challenge I heard most don't stand a "ghost" of a chance at winning a ribbon.
