Hate to sound like an American Express ad, but I really never leave home without it.

I usually take my camera whenever I leave my house. But I do tend to leave the camera in my car a lot whenever I leave the car. When I am out driving, I usually leave it under my drivers seat in my case, with my tripod in the trunk, I am always prepared incase I see a can't miss shot.

Oh yeah....I also keep a small stack of photographic model releases in the pocket of my bag, just in case......

Here's the verbage I use:

For sufficient valuable consideration (including the opportunity of being involved in the photograph(s)), the receipt of which I hereby acknowledge, I assign to

STEPHEN BOATRIGHT

His representative, successors and assigns all rights to reproduce for the purpose of illustration, advertising or publication in any manner, any photographs he has taken of me.

I formatted it so it fits onto a small sheet of yellow paper (about 4x6) so it doesn't look threatening (the second...less important...page of documents is always yellow).

I carry mine everywhere with me, a Pelican shoulder bag, laptop, lenses, etc. I was at a poker game and photo shoot broke out.

Not often enough...

I carry my Rebel and walk about Canon 28-105 with me at all times. I may add one other lens depending on an idea/challenge. When I'm on a 'mission', and if and when I have the time, I obviously take my tripot and full camara bag with me. I just love my hobby.

During the winter I just "toss" the camera in my jacket pocket. I'm not sure what I'm going to do when the weather gets better and I don't have a jacket to carry it in anymore.

I have recently started to take my rig with me when ever I leave the house. before I got the digital rebel I was pretty much carrying my film rebel around everywhere, and I captured some photos that I have never seen since. but for some reason I stopped taking it with me for about 6 months but no more. if I go it goes.

I don't go anywhere. But if I do I'll take my camera. I just take pictures of cows and stuff around my house, awaiting the day when I turn 18 and take a trip across the country.

If you're going to do that then you should set the camera so that it allows you to take a shot without the CF card installed. That way you will at least think you're getting some good shots for a while. It's good practice too. :)

I carry my camera gear around in my backpack quite often. People around the office have finally stopped giving me weird looks. The tripod usually stays in my truck though.

I carry mine all the time.... a factor which makes my family and friends a tad jittery... always fearing I might catch them in an unflattering pose (hehehhehe.... and I will in time)

I normally have 3 cameras on me at one time. 1 Sony for snapshots, 1 setup for wideangle, and the Panasonic ready for those tele shots.

I almost always have my whole rig either with me or nearby in the car. I carry it all along with my laptop in a tamrac 759 backpack, so may as well keep it all with me. So much to take pictures of in alaska tho, you never know when a moose will want to chat...
