I tend to stay up until 3 AM, sleep until 9 AM, nap for 3 hours in the day or evening... It helps to be retired. The dog likes this schedule also...

I think your friends in QLD were having you on. We eat normal food just like you guys. I have never eaten a kidney pie in my life.

I'm serious. All the little bars had a glass shelf with kidney pies. Everyone I went to. I'm talking about the regular drinking bars, not the clubs or discos (Ithink you all call them caberets?) 3X Stubbys was the only beer I ever saw anyone drink.(good beer)

I wanted to go hunting before I left so someone I met took me to a pawn shop. Didn't think I could get a firearm being I was from a different country and all. I bought a nice 303 for $25 like I was buying a pack of cigarettes. I went for a "walk about" in the "outback" by myself for three days.

I never did shoot anything but on the second day I came across a house off a dirt trail with 3 girls and 2 guys living there. Kind of right in the middle of this savanah with nothing for miles but some sparesly scattered cattle and ucalyptus trees. They were cutting these giant golden capped mushys up like the were slicing up pies. I hung around for a day trip then got on my way.

The warm milk tastes good and I'm an Iti, so spaghetti is good any time, but gooey thick syrupy sickly sweet milk on bread is is beyond me.

where did you hear that? I have never had condensed milk for breakfast. I dont think i have ever had it. That is such an old aussie thing. We have toast, cereal, muffins, omlettes etc for brekky. I also dont know about the warm milk.ewwww [/quote]

About 25 years ago I spent month in N Queensland with some friends. We drank XXX stubys for lunch and supper and ate things like kidney pies at the boozers while we were getting pissed til 2 AM. Shrimp were as big as lobsters, millions of toads invade the highways at night, and your rats grow to six feet tall and hop around a bit.

Yes, My nights vary too Tracy. I usually go to bed at around 4 am. It is still early for me right now, only 2am. So I guess it's almost last call for drinks now. If I have a glass of wine before bed I wont sleep. I need to stop drinking several hours before I go to bed or ill be up untill after sunrise. No We do not sleep here in America!

In college we never sleep...well i've been trying to go to bed a little bit earlier now.

All the real fun happens at night time anyway. Thats when the freeks come out and all the weird stuff happens. My favorite is going to a 24hr walmart at like 2am; theres so many weird people there, all kinds divorced moms with their babies. What the hell are they thinking taking their kids to walmart at 2am. First of all its Wal Mart and secondly its 2am, wtf are they thinking.
