oh yeah me too I was just kidding. But still, the idea of two completely separate places being one province has always been lost on me - it's actually never been explained. Like you said, hopefully good things will be coming for everyone back East! (and no, for you mainlanders I don't mean Toronto). hahaha

Thanks. I sent a web-sized shot to The Herald and gave them express permission to publish it; I told them I could provide a higher res image if needed. They just went ahead and printed the one I sent and they didn't let me know. I don't have a problem with that. It's great exposure.

I'm in process of getting a couple of files ready to be sent out for printing and plaque mounting. The Downhomer called this morning and suggested it as a good way of showing off my prints at their gallery. It's going to be costly but hopefully it will pay for itself. :)

Wowo that is great! Do you have a scan of your photo in the Herald?

I had no idea that Labrador has it's own flag. I guess I've always been mad at them for sharing our name so I've repressed anything I've learned about them :-) hahaha

Hey I am in Labrador....watch it!

I haven't seen it yet but I will scan it. Do you guys get the Herald up there?

Hey, were all one big happy province, or I'd like to think we are. I think Labrador has some of the same issues with the Newfoundland government as we have with the Federal government; I truly hope we can work out our differences. With the new land claims deals and resource deals, I hope things improve for them as well as people on the Island.

Here's another one I may put up for prints if I can get the approval of the Labrador Heritage Society. Details about the flags' origin can be seen here: //www3.nf.sympatico.ca/lab.heritage/flag.htm

That's really cool Orussell, but did they ask if they could use it or give you any credit? Still a boost!

That one is the kind of shot that would be useful in a small or large size. I'm happy that you are getting a lot of exposure from it.

I haven't worked out the particulars with them yet. I sent them off some 8 x 10's today and 4 - 16 x 20's are on the way from dcpprints. When they get them we're going to work out pricing and I'm going to check the status of selling online with them. I hope they can put them online - that would be a really big boost.

Thanks Nonage. I just ordered a test run of 4(2 matte - 2 glossy) - 16 x 20 for the Downhomer Store. Hopefully they'll get them in the next week to 10 days. If you happen by Water Street sometime, maybe you could drop in and let me know how they came out? :)
