Nope - (hint: you probably wouldn't know unless you have kids - and even then ???)

I just got back from feeding myself to find that jmsetzler got it right away. I didn't think it would be difficult but thought it was worth a try.

Someone elses turn.

Well I decided that since my "Childhood" entry is a loser, I would try to play this guessing game some more.
If any of the rest of you are interested let me know what you think it is.

Guessing Game
08/25/2002 09:31:51 PM · #16
LOL. There's actually a game called Mindtrap that incorporates this very idea. 1/3 of all of the cards are photos taken at an ultra-macro setting and the person has to identify the object. I used it to drive home perception when I was teaching grade school. Plus it's just good fun.

This is a fun game. It doesn't need to be a challenge. IMHO
08/25/2002 09:16:33 PM · #18
This one definitely made me realize that if we did this as a challenge, people's vote would probably be affected by their frustration over not having any clue what they are looking at. My suggestion to remedy that is to have the same idea, but with the title identifying the object. Thoughts?

Actually I didn't increase the saturation on this one, but you are so close I'll tell ya. It's food coloring in milk.

It makes me think of finger painting or water colors from the way the blue slices into the red. But the blue is shiny and three dimentional. Yet the white speckles look like galaxies. Globs of pure color being added to a can of white paint. Would make a dull purple.

I think you got 'em all stumped. I know I am, my best guess is that it is part of a flower, real close and blown out.

Rob 8 got it. Many of you were very close and I knew it would only be a matter of time. It is actually backlit Honey Nut bread. That was fun let's do it again.
