I was just wondering if my camera was broken or what...when I select "Night Scene" and check my exif info, it comes up:

Exposure Program: Landscape mode (for landscape photos with the background in focus)

I checked back when I first got it some night-time shots and it comes up the same, was just curious if there is something wrong with mine or what (I was thinking it should come up Night Scene or something.

Are you using the FinePix Viewer to check your exif?

I just checked a few of mine and it comes up as-
Shooting Mode: Night Scene Standard

I see two entries one says
Exposure Program = Landscape
Scene capture type = Night scene

I just checked mine shooting in all 4 different programs and reading the Exif Data with Windows XP, portrait, landscape and action modes are reported correctly; night mode is read as landscape. Reading the Exif Data with FinePix Viewer all modes are reported correctly.

ok then I guess mine's fine -- I was reading it in Photoshop. Just seemed strange to me. At first I thought maybe I bumped the dial, but the landscape is 2 notches from night so I thought that was near impossible.

Thanks a lot.
