I don't buy used cameras but I'm happy to buy used lenses if I can get them. But Olympus lenses don't come up very often.

And even South African online suppliers don't have much Olympus. I had to order my EM5 III from Amazon in USA.

I'm in tbe US and have to buy my Olympus gear online. The stores mainly like to carry Canon Nikon & Sony. (I sometimes wonder if my former employer, Konica-Minolta, regrets selling the camera business to them) I also buy used a lot, so better choice. But it is taking some chance.

Enjoy.

The 12-45 is an impressive lens but I also miss the longer reach sometimes. Unfortunately the 12-100 is too big and heavy for me so I'm considering the 14-150. But I'd have to buy online because Olympus equipment it hard to come by in South Africa. I hate that because I like to see what I'm getting

Well, I finally plunked down for my 2nd pro lens. I've been spoiled by the 12-45 pro that came with my EM5. I've really liked the wider short end than what my Tammy 14-150 has and the super close focusing distance. Image quality was certainly better, though the Tammy was already pretty darn good. But I found that as single lens travel solution, I missed the longer reach now and then.

Even as a good deal used, this was the most expensive lens I have ever bought. Still cheap compared to what some of you folks have. It is definitely front heavy on the EM5 and twice the size of the 12-45, 1/3 larger than the 14-150. It should be useful on the bike and when traveling.
