Or recreate the reality yourself with photogrammetry and Unreal Engine like this guy did with his imagery of Australia:
Memories of Australia, Rural Australia

I am blown away with the quality of his work, the 3D environment building skills and the incredible camera work. I downloaded his Rural Australia content and have been trying to create my own memories of Australia but, so far, my work is no match on his. I will keep on learning and trying to improve.

In the time pandemia the virtual world is a great escape. Going in real life to Australia is almost impossible now and unlikely to get back to normal for a long time.

PS If you use Unreal Engine to build your own world YOU are setting up the shots, the cameras have all the controls of the real camera - exposure, DOF, blur, manual focus etc. You select the angle, you frame the shot, and you have a complete control over the environment. It is like if you built a scaled model in the studio and took photos of that. The computer based model is though much more flexible.

hahh true! I agree, It just don't give that feeling of "wow" I took the shot and not "wow" that machine took the shot :)

Yes, especially if you are shooting lions with wide angle lens ;)
