I very often upload from my phone (Android). After editing and saving the photo I locate the file and rename/change extension from jpeg to jpg. Then there is no issue uploading it. Just did for water bottle challenge.

Hope it helps.

Great!

I've had that trouble a bunch while trying to enter on my phone.

Usually, I just emailed the image to one of our "children", give them my login info, and they enter it for me.

But... I've never been able to upload a portrait oriented image from my phone without it showing up for me correctly, but sideways for the viewers/voters.

Any ideas how to get around it?

If you're having trouble uploading, click here to access the classic uploader.

It's underneath where it says Upload New Photo to your workshop

You are a life saver. Never would have found that. Uploaded with 10 minutes to spare.

Glad it worked.

It should work. Does for me. The only thing is if the file is too big and then you get a sideways picture. But you have the option in Snapseed to save a smaller file.

Shoot. I hate having an entry I can’t submit due to wifi down and unknown technical problems uploading.
