One of the things I look for in a B&W image is dynamic range that covers the spectrum of true white to true black. Having said that I'd score the landscape a bit higher than the entry. Just one guys opinion. |

I find the book and eye shot more interesting and would have scored it higher than the other one |

That eye is just so perfectly sharp.
If it had not been, I'd like the landscape better.
As is, it's no contest between the two for me.

Sometimes I'm easily overwhelmed when it comes to choosing from different possible entries ...

So this is a helpful way to evaluate b&w pictures and I will try to keep it in mind |
