UK Suck at sorting ANYTHING out with this 'NUMPTY' running the country into the ground.
I decided long ago that I will write this year off at least.
The gov in this country have failed its people big time, I'm not sure about the truth in other countries but it seems NZ acted fast and effectively because they have a decent gov in place.

No worries, I got the link from my niece who lives in Australia. ABC News is definitely a reliable source, unlike BBC these days.
PS I just realized that ABC News also exists in the US! My source is Australian Broadcasting Corporation! In Australia where there are quite a few great scientists :)

I tend to ignore most of the bullshit I read online without verifiable sources. Obviously my friend isn't infallible or omniscient, but if she can't corroborate something I need evidence and sources. |

My friend is one of the leading epidemiologists in the world for influenza and corona viruses. She isolated the current SARS-CoV-2. I asked her this morning while dropping the kids off at school about this and it's news to her. |

My friend is one of the leading epidemiologists in the world for influenza and corona viruses. She isolated the current SARS-CoV-2. I asked her this morning while dropping the kids off at school about this and it's news to her.

6 months later it looks that it does mutate into a more contagious strain. What it means to the many vaccines under development?

It is really, REALLY best not to catch it.

Obviously, DPC issues are not foremost in anyone's mind right now, but for what it's worth we have decided to schedule at least one challenge a week, usually the open challenge, as an ARCHIVAL challenge so those who can't get out can still participate. We'll also try to schedule more challenges that can be shot in the home.
Hopefully everyone's OK? Certainly, there's been ZERO mention of the Pandemic in the forums, but that doesn't mean much....

| Not a good idea to copy UK! We're just heading back into lockdown in various regions of the country (where I'm located being one) with UK wide further restrictions put in place for the foreseeable future. It's grim. |

I hate to write this, but I am sooooo tired of this hype. Somehow I stumbled on DPC again tonight. Just wanted to wish you all good luck and good health in this crisis.
Maybe I'll participate in one of the (archived) challenges. It would be nice to do that again :) |
