I must admit I'm not that well read so took all the images as meeting the challenge. Some great work and my first pass was 6.4 with (I'm sure) plenty of bumps to come.

The entries are splendid . . . this challenge brings out the magic of Eliot's words. I hope many take the time to vote.

I sure know where you're coming from.

Just entered my creation. I personally feel happy with the result and it's exactly what I had in mind.
Can't wait to see the voting.

Oh yes. So much imagery

The Waste Land; fire sermon. Not sure I'd be able to do it justice though!

I'm not an Extended person (perhaps that's why I'm only 5'2") but I do think his poetry lends itself to some extra magic.....

I've wondered whether that helped inspire Dylan's Desolation Row:

Praise be to Nero's Neptune
The Titanic sails at dawn
Everybody's shouting
"Which side are you on?"
And Ezra Pound and T. S. Eliot
Fighting in the captain's tower
While calypso singers laugh at them
And fishermen hold flowers
Between the windows of the sea
Where lovely mermaids flow
And nobody has to think too much
About Desolation Row.

I second this nomination. And while it is true that nothing else he's done can quite compare to the cultural and intellectual impact of CATS 2019, there actually is quite a bit of imagery in his poetry that might inspire you. Hollow men, yellow fog, claws on the ocean floor, and the occasional hippopotamus. Here are some juicy examples:

and finally, if you want to understand why you should be taking photographs in the first place, you can read this:
