Please remove me from the list as I have been rather rubbish at getting my act together on the glass photography front - I should have chosen frogs instead - sorry!

I overheard him talking to his assistant about photography. I said “you a photographer?” He asked what kind of photography I like and I mentioned a few names. I said I liked a lot of Magnum photographers and his sssistant said he is a Magnum photographer. Great guy and we had a nice conversation.

Like attracts like Henry, that’s a great story and it brings a smile to this face. I looked through his work, pretty intense.
We miss you and your Ricoy.

I'd like to pick a theme: Sears
- I have several Sears M42 mount lens that I've enjoyed having, although I keep picking up the 55/1.4 and the others need some exercise.

If I may - please and thank you?
I hope you include outdoor as well as indoor appliances, and at least one washing machine.

Ah, yes indeed! Tools. Chainsaw! :-)

Add me to the list. Not sure what my theme is yet. Mostly I need to get my creative juices flowing again

This actually could be very helpful...

My part time job is photographer at the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center. I'm trying to figure out how to take better and more interesting photos. I've been working on the technical (inside, dark lighting, lots of reflections, poor shooting conditions). I think I'm getting a handle on how to work with that. But now I want to know how to get better/more interesting shots. And feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Cool!

Sign me up!

I'm honored, Mita. Here is a book by a friend of mine doing her own version of poetography. For many of these, the photo came first:

One square yard or smaller. Kinda. Background bokeh -- check. Reflections of distant objects -- check. Cosmic revelations -- check.
Pro -- can stay inside when it rains. Con -- may elicit yawns. Maybe -- who knows...
Abbreviated to sqy/s.

my theme is "essay"

Old or wrecked cars, or parts thereof. I'll be trawling my son's wrecking yard for material, but also supplementing it with anything else I come across that fits the theme.
