Thanks for sharing Henry. Some great photography there. I've been aware of Brunelli for a few years and have got a couple of his books. Whilst I found his early collection The Animals totally amazing I was a bit disappointed with his book on London for some reason I can't put my finger on. I do like these New York ones a lot more. (maybe because i know London very well but have never been to New York? Maybe.)

as DPCers we're well aware of how to create this "look" or something similar. I think his genius shows when he melts men into a lamppost, or tricks rain into falling up from an umbrella

That's somewhere up there well-beyond "excellent". Absolutely stunning work, to my eye and sensibility anyway. Thanks so much for sharing, Henry. And Paul, great to see you popping in!

The key here is putting them together. Yes Henry: photo essay (collection) that we like a lot.
I don't find necessarily NY in his images - well "my NY" - and reading him I found that it's not necessarily NY that he looked for:
" I seek out the light that I like and know best. "

Never mind that; I did not know this photographer and I found him described as "an artist working with photography" and really like his work. Great find Henry.

Really interesting. Thanks for this glimpse of the curtain pulled back and the essentials given their due. I've actually made some similar pictures, but without a master's intent, as I've accidentally pushed the shutter button whilst shambling about.

Paul, nice to see you still poking around. My mind is in it even if I don’t post very often.

Thank you, Henry.

All of these could as easily have been mine, if only I were just a wee bit more talented. Maybe a little more than wee.
