I totally miss the Free Study Challenge. There were some truly exceptional photos in this challenge.

I never understand scores lower than a 4 unless it is an obvious DNMC and poorly composed and processed. When I see a low score on an obviously good picture I take it as being vindictive for no reason.

I didn't enter and I didn't vote so far (will do it later)
But what I saw from first glance there are a lot of interesting pictures ad none of them deserves a score lower than 4

I rarely give lower than a 4 either . . . but I never thought of it that way. I like the thought, though. There have to be all sorts of images out there that I would like even less than my least favorite entry that never got entered :)

Nope, I was expecting low with this one, but who cares about the score. The most important is that I like it and feel something with that entry.
Still didn't look/vote at the entries. (played Pokémon go all day with my son, and some took some pictures). I (almost) never give under 4, as this is for me the "thank you" level to someone who did the effort to enter

Yes, me. After 10 votes my score is 7.000. Didn’t expect anything close to this. Don’t expect it will stay like this, but for now it’s a nice surprise.

Glad to see this thread. I was really disappointed last night. I mean I don't think I have a winner, probably not even 40%ile, but really!
Looking up slightly this a.m.

That's not too different to mine. It's since gone up to a massive 4.5 though!!

Mine's so low it's making me wonder if the scores are being messed with. That sometimes happened on April 1 in the past. I hope that's the case this year.

I'm at 5.6 with 5 votes. The voters aren't very kind.

Ask yourself; does photography give you pleasure. Nothing else matters. If it does than do it. Life is too short!
