I've gone out (in the streets) and shot a photo that has now been post processed into a turneresque 'Masterpiece' - Let the 1's and 10's roll in :)

Perfect, that's what we need.
Did the same, entered yesterday

Hopefully, we'll see new masters :)
And that the Troll (with a capital)voters appreciate the art of taking pictures with the intention to change it into a painterly scene.

But, I dislike street photography in general.

It would not have to be traditional street photography (which, in general, is awesome BTW), just put a toad in the road.

I don't think, or at least one interpretation does not involve "street photography" at all. just include streets in the painterly scene. a painting style photo in the style ofstreet painting?...

The description includes "get out in the streets"
I just want to make sure we don't have a whole bunch of still life pictures.

Title: Painterly Scenes

Description: Get out in the streets, up in the hills, down by the coast, wherever, and find a scene that begs to be painted By a true master. Shoot the scene, bring it home, "paint" it and show it :-)

Does this work?

Get out in the streets and shoot something that would make a painter his masterpiece scene.
Strongly advised to use photoshop filters to get that painterly effect.
