We have a Pentax P30t in mint condition, mounted with a Vivitar 28-200mm zoom lens, that came to me after the owner passed away, and it looks as if it has never been used. So we're sending it on to Linda's daughter, happy that it will get a chance to be what it was designed to be :-)

I think she could do a lot worse than gettIng a rangefinder - a Canon 7 for example. Fantastic and cheap lenses such as the Canon LTM mount lenses make for a compact, high quality system. I don't even use a powered light meter, using an iPhone app instead.

How nice. Film is about all I do now. Happy to help with homework if necessary.

My daughter has taken a big interest in film photography.
She has been taking some classes at the local college and is
wanting a dedicated SLR for her B&W course. Any recommendations
keeping in mind that money is tight?
