That's a great image! It looks like they played around with the dimensions in the print on the wall.

That's pretty cool -- I don't know where any of mine have been used, but a huge fraction of my downloads are outside of North America ... here's a screenshot some of my more frequently downloaded images (all from one day!) -- that corpse flower seems to get downloaded somewhere in the world a couple of times a week ... still looking for a screenshot of the map displayed at login ...

Thanks tnun!

GeneralE My biggest payment had been $20 before this. Search shows this image being sold on several websites as wall-art (guessing from previous sales), also found it hanging in a house that was listed for sale, I was surprised google found it :)

I don't know for sure, but that large a payout probably means that whoever is using it will be making a lot of copies, maybe at a large size. Magazine cover, calendar, or something like that would be my top guesses.

Congratulations -- the biggest payment I've ever gotten for a picture is $28 ... but it sure is a nice surprise to see the monthly earnings take a jump like that. :-)

I occasionally check my shutterstock account to see if I made my usual 33 cents, today to my surprise in the "Singles & Other" column I saw $100 for one image.

Any idea where a photograph with that kind of payout on a micro-stock website gets used?

Edited to add the image.
