Hi All, We are planning a trip to Nova Scotia in August. Our port of entry will be Yarmouth. We were originally tempted to try to cover the whole length of NS to see Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail but now I'm thinking it may be too much for 6 days (could rethink again though). Still in planning but possibly a loop like...

--> Yarmouth to the Lighthouse Route (Staying in Mahone Bay, Lunenberg, Chester area)
- Heading up to the Bay of Fundy via Peggy's Cove and Halifax (Staying in Wolfville, New Minas, Kentville area)
Visiting Blomidon Provincial Park or maybe circling up to New Yarmouth to visit Chignecto Provincial Park)
--> Heading down the Annapolis Valley (Digby area)
Visiting a winery or two and at least a full day in Kejimkujik National Park
--> Making our way back to Yarmouth via the Acadian Shore

This is a really rough plan. I'm leaning toward moving our base of operations every second day or so instead of moving every night but I'm open to suggestions from anybody who has visited NS or lives there. We don't feel the need to stay in the exact locations mentioned just their general vicinity. I'd love to hear of the must see photo spots, fun places to visit, stay or eat!
