Well, I must confess that vlado has won the Bowl, as I did not get an entry in for bridges. It was too late when I realized that it was part of the tournament. So sad.

It has been a blast and I too want to thank vlado for organizing and running it. This has put a badly needed spark back into DPC. THANK YOU!

Netherwood spanked me in the nether regions :-( I think I'm competing for a Mug now, not sure. I'm running a nice, high score in Bridge, so I have hopes of winning that anyway :-)

You may as well jump off a bridge, MeMex2 -- the Ladle will be mine. My Bridge entry will be tough to beat.

I'd like to add myself to the list of those thanking Vlado for organizing and running this little enterprise. I hope he'll keep doing it, in between DPL seasons maybe (knock on wood) to keep the joint hopping. This sort of competition is very engaging and instrumental in encouraging folks to stretch a bit :-)

Thanks! I'm enjoying it... and I don't remember the last time I entered 5 challenges in a row. So, for me, it's achieved its goal - have fun, and encourage me to take photos.

I'll probably do it again later in the year, after DPL has run its course, and people get over competition fatigue.

Looks like it's the coaster or the fork for me. Thanks nygold. If I can't get the toothpick... I'm OK with either, but with the fork, I might get the point. ;-p

Interesting timing for me - all the entries were shot on vacation (new material, but without access to my regular photo editing pc). Landscape and Bridges entries are doing better than my initial challenges, so watch out - coaster here I come!

Yes, this has been fun. I'm with the others - thanks vlado for doing this.

I second this - great job Vlado and wonderful fun. Also, I think having so many challenges in a row count is genius - really evens the playing field it seems.

Well, I'm up against the incredibly accomplished Marnet in "Bridges", so I'm probably toast in that challenge, even though I'm running an excellent score :-(
ETA: whoa, we're battling in "Landscapes"... Oddly, my score there is mediocre, though usually I do quite well :-(
