Ah, yes, that makes much more sense now :) I think their app in general could use some work, it's pretty primitive at this point.

I agree about the screen... but don't follow you on this one? You've got the rangefinder style shutter control and the aperture ring?

Looks like a great camera. I really do like the operation of my FZ1000...the DFD focus that Panasonic is using is extremely good. On par with my dSLRs (well, I don't do much tracking on either cam, so I can't speak to that.) The extra DOF of a smaller sensor comes in handy, and yet I can still get beautiful bokeh.

I did hold the RX100III. I did not like it. While tempted by the size and resolution it just felt too small and not very ergonomic (at least for my hands). Then although it has the EVF you need to pop it up and pull it to use it. Then if you press it back the camera shuts down.

Great photos. The night ones are beautifull.

I'm trying to sell my Sony RX100 to get this one. The variable aperture being f4.9 on the tele end is'nt usable for most thins, specially in low light. I will sacrifice the tele end for appertura all day. And I do get some inconsistence in the RX100 quality, particulary above ISO400.

I will second Tiberius- as the other owner on DPC, it's an amazing cam. Expect more photos from me in the near future, just contemplating whether it will be my free study entry or not. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the AF to be what it was. The AF, the amazing lack of noise from the shutter, the responsiveness, and the FPS are ridiculous.

I loved my LX5(which my daughter now uses). It's no surprise that the LX100 produces outstanding images.

The veggie cart at ISO 1600/3200 - wow. Beautiful. And the street scene with only a spot of light, just magnificent IMHO. I am becoming a huge fan of the dark and that shot screams out with story to me.

I do like it a lot. And the more I use it the more I like it. It's a nice travel companion, coupled with a gorilla pod and with the wifi remote is all good.

I still need to try the time-lapse.

I do believe the OMD-EM5 MKII is desirable but I am glad I got something that won't push me buy more stuff.

I post some more pics here again (they've been on this thread)

I'll try to update more.

Colors look great, as does sharpness on that eye. Pretty (and cooperative) cat.
