I've sent in cameras/lenes to them something like a half-dozen times.

Never had a single problem, and the thing is usually back in my hands within a week.

I did some research and found nothing but great reviews from Canon repair centers.

Not a camera, but my 17-40mm wasn't auto focusing. It would search for focus, find it, then pop out of focus. Sent it in, they clean it or something and sent it back fixed.

They are the class of the bunch when it comes to their in-house service. Have no fear.

I've used them several times and always been pleased with the results and quickness of turnaround. I live within a few hours drive of the repair center in Irvine, CA and have dropped off and picked up or shipped both directions. Great experiences no matter the method.

I've heard great things about Canon repairs. I always buy my equipment from Best Buy and get their warranty since it's awesome... but... if you send it with a signature required at delivery (maybe take a photo of the inside of the box before mailing), then you should be fine.

Has anyone sent in cameras to Canon for repairs? My 60D handgrips are starting to peel and feel kind of loose. I want it to be fixed correctly. What experiences have people had with their repair service. So far the service rep has been helpful. I just get nervous when I send something out with no receipt from the company
