Almost time for another one of these? This one started around the beginning of April 2014. Yes?

Yes, I should do that. I'll have a go later.

Ladies and gentlemen the results from Hidden Gem are in and we have a winner.

Beating his starting average by 0.7769 with:

The winner is P-A-U-L.

Congratulations!!

Congratulations to markwiley for making it to the final too!

Many thanks to all of you who participated.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Paul. Hope your day of shooting went well.

Ha yes as Mark pointed out Mark and I are in the same TPL team so it will be a tough final. I am fairly confident Mark has this in the bag though he does have a higher average than me so he needs to push the boat out a bit more than me which I am confident he will do.

Sorry to have abandoned you in your final hours!

As you have surmised it is markwiley versus P-A-U-L in the final, to be decided by their Hidden Gem challenge. (The Bear challenge was a speed challenge and not in play)

Good luck both!

That would look terrific! ...so what's your point? (now where did I put that selective desaturation hidden gem I made in 2004 with my point and shoot camera?)

I think hidden gem is the final. Tough one. 230+ entries and the voters have already started hammering down the entries :-)

What is the status of the "Get Well Bear_Music" challenge, apropos this side challenge? It was an open one, too. Also ending on Tuesday night.

No, I think it's the Hidden Gem challenge that the finals is based on. The Tues challenge that was announced when the Parks challenge started voting.

I am pretty sure it is 10 Second Exposure. I think it has always been the Tuesday night/Wednesday morning challenge for Beat Your Average (Guns, Avatar, Architecture, and Parks).

Hey no worries Paul - we can all wait! Makes it more exciting unless of course we chose to do the maths ourselves - no thanks.

Thanks for letting us know

Advanced apologies!

My tomorrow morning I have to leave the house early, shortly after rollover and will be out all day without access to a computer. I won't be back until about 10pm my time so there will be a long delay before I post the results of the semi-finals.

I'm sure you'll understand though as I'm spending the day shooting!

Thanks

Paul

Well, markwiley, I think I laid an egg on the 'parks' challenge. Currently 0.9 below my average. If you're doing better than that, I think you're on to the finals...
