He may post them as a part of the final thread, or we might post them here. It's really up to Don as far as I'm concerned. |

Hard for me now to leave just one comment.
We have in this forum 36 essays - it feels like Christmas - 36 packages to unwrap , look, look and listen to and go back and look again and they're all ours and suddenly we are taken from our little place in which we sit quite comfortable and have a narrow angle of view to an immensely wide screen that is vibrant and new.
I appreciate each one of the entries and am still in the process of absorbing this new information and beauty of expression that is seeping from each essay.
What I understood also is that this is a great way to look at our own photos and get a bit of freedom from the constraints of the one week challenge. We might even want to take a particular challenge and enlarge its perspective.
I am planning to repeat the experience and truly hope that as many as DPCers will consider it also. |

Let me start of and refer to this then:
For me this series talks about consistency and variance: You show us bridges, but every bridge is different. Every shot is taken from a different angle with different framing. All shots have a human factor, but in each shot humans do their own unique thing, though they all ignore their bridge, or take it for granted. All images are simple at first glance, but yet I leave them sensing I missed something, and so I feel compelled to come back. Awesome stuff!

I like this idea. Some like a chance at sharing/testing ideas during the creative phase. Some like sharing ideas after the project is finished. This way, everyone would get a chance to enjoy their favorite part of the process. And with no winner, maybe people could relax a little. |
