Not professional? It depends, of course. These have been at shows at places like the Photographers Gallery in London, at Lupe, and other places: but it should be said that they are almost universally large prints that work that way. I mean like 30" plus.

| thank you.. i agree with what you say "the simpler the better" but as this is a very professional and well known event, wouldn´t look cheap and less professional using only paper or some other material to mount the photos? I really don´t know a lot of these things.. thanks again! =) |

If it were me, I would never frame right against the picture: some kind of border gives our image room to breathe, a frame can be very restricting on your images.
The only other advice would be 'the simpler the better'. Some of the most effective displays I've seen involve prints on heavy gloss card, with no frames whatsoever.

| I´m showing 20 photos I took in Mozambique last year. It´s a very well known event and lots of people will be there. I´m framing all the pictures but what I don´t know is if I should frame the photos right at the photo level, or I should frame them leaving some space between the picture and the frame. I guess it must be according to my taste.... but maybe you know some tricks or recommendations for an exposition like this. I would love if someone knows about this. |
