I just restored my computer to factory default. I'm having difficulties getting my text to display properly it seems over sharp with halos.
Using windows supplied calibrator I can get everything to display properly but gamma and I cant get that nowhere near the benchmark.
I "suspect" ATI Catalyst control center might be the culprit, but hell I don't know, is it a necessary program?
Adjusting my monitor setting everything to "normal" but reduced sharpening to 0.
As for photos using Pug-H's "Up the Garden Path" red ribbon winner front page as a bench mark. 110% zoom looks best, 100% is too sharp, 125% a little soft.

Please help the text is giving me a headache.
Thank You Alan..
