Cool Alex! ;) At least you might get a tiny violin :) mine's barely scraping a 5.6xxx atm and expecting it to drop more as per normal lately. Oh well, it is what it is.

I'm very happy with how this has been received (although not much love from the last two voters with a 3 then a 4). Thanks for the lovely comments and faves.

9 comments, 2 faves...nothing wrong with that!

It was quite an enjoyable challenge to vote on -- some great creativity and out-the-box thinking! Voted on as many as I could ... will try go back and vote some more this weekend. Go for 50% maybe?

You have rated 127 of 128 images (99%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 34 of 128 images (27%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 5.8346.

It's voting. You have to vote 20% for your vote to be counted. In those days, of course, there were a lot more entries, so it was sometimes impossible to vote on all the entries. The 20% rule was quite useful when thinking of the the Free Studies, where the number of entries was high. (I just picked July 2007 as an example where there were 646 entries. 20% was more than most challenges get as entries these days!)

I think images that are really 'Wow!' or images that are just plain awful get the most comments. Otherwise, most folks don't comment unless there is something they really feel compelled to say at the moment. As Stagolee said, you can always post later and ask for comments.

As for wanting feedback, I agree with you: I really want it because I'm looking to improve. And I feel that there are not enough folks commenting (there are threads about this, I believe). In that regard, I've tried to give more comments recently, and in some challenges, making an effort to comment on 100% of the photos. Not everyone wants to hear constructive criticism, but I think the majority of folks do.

Don't worry too much. You can always wait until the challenge is over and post your entry here in the forums and ask members to give you some feedback.

That's awesome! Mine is hovering ~ 5.5 with no comments. But that's okay - I learned a heck of a lot trying to get the right shot. Well worth it. :)

You (we) should work at improving our photography and editing skills. To the extent this site helps with that, so be it. But it should be secondary.

This Triskaidekaphobia team member dreamt of her team mates bopping her on the head 13x each for entering my 13 item shot. Morning after submission regrets ... LOL. But it's actually doing better (4.83 currently) than my portrait shot so maybe I won't have to become a triskaidekaphobe. Oh wait I already am ... more coffee needed.

Happy "update" button pressing all.

I actually thought there were a lot of very nice images entered.

Another odd thought:
The challenge description said "exactly thirteen of the main subject", which IMO can be interpreted loosely - no indication that one had to have identical objects though that works too, of course.

And a score, down from 2.x an hour ago: 5.0
