I think some may of already been sent out.
I'm just waiting for the green light on the code tests and then we can put all the pieces in place and get ready for the big kick-off

Awesome!
Thanks to the TPL team for all your hard work. Looking forward to this.

Ooooh TPL -- I like it!

The contest will start in the new year.

We are now running tests using old scores and bogus teams to make sure everything is working well.
The rule-set is pretty simple but it will need wording correctly.

We will shortly be opening the entrants confirmation thread and I hope to have the rules in place by then too.

Thanks for your patience and sorry for any delay.

We still have time.

Would it be possible to email entrants or PM them in case we (ahem, I) miss it as it goes by?

It is looking like we may be able to go with 6 on a team at this rate, and with 2 separate leagues too and keep the length of the contest down too.

Although it seems like a lonely wait, I can assure you there are 3 guys working very hard in the background to make it a success... I am simply fronting it, a bit like a bad kareoke singer having the Beatles as a backing band.

Just a suggestion to explain the demands and requirements of prospective team members before you create too many teams and leagues. That is, once the plans for the competition take concrete form, give people an idea of their tour of duty. I'm hoping there truly is this much enthusiasm for submitting to many consecutive challenges. As a former team captain in DPL2, I know it was sometimes painful to encourage regular, steady participation. (And, I had a dedicated, loyal, commited, talented, very active team.) All I'm saying is there may be more enthusiasm for a forum signup than there will be for regular, steady commitment to challenge participation. It's better to give people the option of reconsidering, rather than be cajoled by captains later.

Don't worry, I think we're going to have a new thread to confirm interest. We may not, but at the least we're going to be getting confirmations.

We're also keeping a very mindful eye on length of competition.

can I go ahead and confirm now? :)
