WELL I TOOK THIS FOR THE SPEED CHALLENGE BUT, DIDN'T GET IT IN IN TIME. JUST WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU ANYWAY. IT WASN'T FOR THE CHALLENGE SO MUCH AS IT WAS FOR YOU SO HERE YOU GO....

| Sadly I don't have an entry for this challenge, the flowers I were hoping would have bloomed by now, haven't :-( But they should soon. I plan to send an image of them to her very soon though. Good luck to all those entering. |

I HAVEN'T ENTERED TOO MANY CHALLENGES LATELY BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO MISS THIS ONE TO HONOR SHEZ. I KNOW THERE WILL BE LOTS OF WONDERFUL IMAGES TO LIFT HER SPIRITS.

I TOTALLY LOVE (ALTHOUGH, I'M NOT SURPRISED) SEEING ALMOST TWICE THE AMOUNT OF ENTRIES FOR SHEZ'S CHALLENGE THAT HAD ONLY TWO DAYS TO ENTER... THAN THE "REGULAR" ONE THAT HAD A WEEK TO ENTER.

| I hiked a long distance at high elevation to photograph special flowers for Sherpet today. In her honor, I submit to a genre which is not my strongest area. It was a delight to accomplish this task. |

I'm doing alright. Wish I were back here under better circumstances but when my husband told me what the new speed challenge was and why I just had to jump in and support Sherpet. She more than deserves it. Although I sure wont be winning any ribbons with my submisson. I didnt use good equiptment or even remember how to use photoshop. At all. It's definately not like riding a bike. But hopefully it brightens her day.

Here are some flowers for Sherpet. Actually taken during the speed challenge dates, but discovered too late the camera date is incorrectly set a date earlier than actual, so missed the chance to post with everyone else. Posting here in the spirit of appreciation and encouragement.

I would have loved to have found some of the flowers on my list but alas none were in season or they did not carry them. I did find something that hopeful captures some of the beauty, lines, and shapes that Sherryl captures so beautifully in her nature photography. It is my hope that it brings a smile to you Sherpet

Just want to remind folks here... the flower photos are a gift to Sherpet and everyone who takes part is doing a kind and sweet thing for her.
However, the VOTES on the photos have nothing to do with our honored guest and I'm sure she would agree that vote on the photos as they are and using whatever your regular judging methods might be. Don't up the votes because it's a special challenge -- that does nothing of value.
Enjoy them and hopefully she and Peter will... But vote the same as you always would.

| If this were a regular week long challenge I would delete my submission, but I will keep it in just because it is for Sherpet. I hope I am not the only one who feels score wise it is going to be low, but scores don't really matter this time. |
