Yeah I have that problem too with those random numbers coming up. I just delete that part before posting.

i have 3 comments on mine, i encourage ppl to voice there opinion even if they are wrong least they have the stones to identify themselves rather than just giving a 1 and hiding etc

we shouldn't discourage them, i think i commented on yours hahn23?

Yeah mine too but he did not change his mind. He still is very sinical about whether you created the letter or only used props to focus on a letter. I think it is just splitting hair

Good old times :) I always get a confirmation (since a year or so, but that's a guess)

I was quoted details and DNMC opinions by a bag head too. Not only illiterate but also extremely negative and sadly judgmental without a critical explanation of his/her opinion as to why they thought so.
These people seem very angry and depressed to me, to be constantly putting out in public, their true natures. Yin yang. I'm guessing.

I will just add that sometimes you will never receive any confirmation that your image has been validated, I would say this happens about 25% of the time.

The top 5 scoring images are automatically subject to validation after the voting phase ends. Then, if any are DQd, images moving into the top 5 spots are automatically subject to validation. Photographers have 48 hours to submit unaltered original file(s) to the SC and Admin. Notice of the need to submit original file(s) is sent by email and a notification appears on your DPC home page. Now the tough part.... it can take 7 or 8 or more days for the validation process to complete. When complete, one will receive a notice of validation email. DQs can happen faster if a rule violation (not requiring review of image(s)) is the cause for the DQ.

Beyond the top 5 images, other images can be subject to validation review if a majority of the SC agrees with member/user reports of possible ruleset violations.

ok thanks, so it is an automatic validation. Somehow I don't feel to great to have my original file sitting on file.
