| Yeah, this is pretty rare for me, so I am excited... I guess if you are constantly getting 7+ scores, there is no need to post them... |

Yeah, There are a lot of people that do not participate in the scores threads and enter that have outrageously high scores. One example,  gyaban never posts his scores up. I use him as an example because he is one of the most prevalent submitters and winners I could think of in all of DPC history but there are a lot more who don't post scores and constantly take the top spots.
Maybe its because they spend soooooo much time shooting while we waste precious time typing in scores threads.

Slowly losing traction but staying in this range since day one. I was as high as 6.29 and thought I would break the 6.3 barrier. Maybe it happened while I was busy but quickly went back down.
I agree with bear. The top 20 will be great scores in this one. |

I thought I actually got the technical and artistic aspects of this challenge right but since nobody will tell me otherwise (no comments to go with low scores), who knows? Also, is it my imagination or are the scores lower than usual? Not just this challenge but others as well.

In a macro challenge I'd expect it would take a 6.8+ to make top 20 out of 175 entrants, for whatever that's worth...

The worst score I have gotten in about a year. Fortunately, my SOPA entry is doing much better, so I will put off selling my gear for now. |

Nice! Maybe you will make the front page with that score! Unless there are some uber-high scorees not reporting in that's the highest anyone has posted this late in the game.

I'm still hanging on to my 6 by 0.0625 votes... a hairline fraction.
Can't actually believe it's that high as I'm not even sure about my own image?!
I find macro photography really difficult and not done much of it either. |
