of course not. I do believe the woman who claimed to be the mother had/has some issues not immediately related to the protest. I do hope the other shouters were not typical.

You're going to have your idiot's at any event of this type. That said, no normal parent would knowingly take their child into a dangerous situation.

This should be obvious. I'm not even sure why the video was posted in the first place.

For the purpose of discrediting a movement.

Well you were right. Not that it comes as any surprise.

How far right have we slid when a Harvard Law professor from Oklahoma is being portrayed as some sort of crazy lefty radical.

Possible response by the Financial Quarters?

This might evolve into a political issue yet.

"A well-known Washington lobbying firm with links to the financial industry has proposed an $850,000 plan to take on Occupy Wall Street and politicians who might express sympathy for the protests"...[emphasis added]

This clip of the police pepper spraying peaceful sat down teenage demonstrators is fascinating.

This open letter to the Chanceller of the University is worth a read as well.

I'm pretty sure BrennanOB has been shooting in Oakland...

Or if they do, could accidently vote for the wrong candidate.

Only that's not what the Tea Party did...The Tea Party was assimilated by the GOP, pushing it further to the right, alienating moderates and widening the gap across the aisle.

So the protestors are being allowed back into Zuccotti Park, but they're not allowed tents or generators, and they're not allowed to lie down (in case they fall asleep)

It'll be fun to see how that last part is policed... Half-asleep protestors being dragged to their feet by police and propped up against a tree.

makes sense. this isn't a protest any longer, its a campout.

I'd be willing to bet that taking away tents and generators will make it less of a campout and more of a protest.

Have a few buddies of mine who were down there today.. Absolute mayhem

If you're a Stewart fan and love ironic humor you have to dig up those Tempest in a Tea Party clips he has on his site. Probably on Hulu as well.
