Hi!
I was thinking to take some macro shots tonight, although i havnt set my focus through the viewfinder on my 7d, and i forget how to do it.
Any tips?

1. mount your macro or your 100-400 and manually focus it at closest distance.
2. point camera at sky (will be totally out of focus)
3. focus your viewing eye on the little box marks in the viewfinder
4. rotate the wheel on the right rear of the viewfinder to get those marks as sharp as possible

Recheck this frequently; your eye actually changes its focus according to various changes in environment. You may need to reset the viewfinder diopter in cold weather, for example.
