So... As far as I hear, Google is changing the way it figures its SEO and will now rank those featured in google plus circles higher. So...... it's probably time to get listed on google plus.

Here's an article for interest:

And if you want to exchange links, here's my Google Plus photography profile:

and my Google Plus personal profile is here:

In this case, a circle is just a fancy name for a list. You can customize your lists so that only certain people see your posts. You can have a "family" circle, to post your family picnic snapshots on and a "dpc" list to show off the stuff you your family has no interest in like blurry, arty shots or still life studies or whatever. It's not a clique because only you know who is in what circle.

I think to make a DPC Circle, you'd have to create an account called DPC. Then we could be in a circle there. I'm not sure why we would do this. Aren't we already in a circle here? The only reason for creating a circle on google is to make it by invitation of the group only. A clique. That's the point of a circle, to include only the people you want to include.

I'm not sure I am comfortable with how the photos are handled yet. I'm there, but haven't uploaded any pics!
I think this is me...I'm just getting rolling with this!

Has anyone played with g+ pages yet? - It *looks* like you can create a fan page, a bit like facebook. And from there, do hangouts and stuff...

I signed up to Google+ a few days ago but haven't added a single person yet. Presumably there isn't a "DPC" circle I can just add to be a part of (kind of like a facebook fan page) but that I would have to add every individual one by one?

This should be me

Now that it's open to world+dog, are there any more DPC members on Google+?

Here is mine: Link

Yes but you can't delete the Scrapbook in its entirety, like other albums you've created.

Thanks.

Try deleting them on picasa? even if you didnt have one, it probably created an account for you

Very interesting, It's amazing how much a little withholding of information changes something.
