I have both but still prefer Photomatix, to me it handles light and color better, and produces more natural looking results. Some of my examples:

I use it in most of my images as part of standard workflow. |

| I've used EnfuseGUI (free) a couple of times, but have no experience with the other programs for comparison. |

| Nik's HDR Efex is in another league to other software I've got (Photomatix and Hydra). |

| Hi. I`m using Nik HDR Efex Pro with Aperture but haven`t played around very much with it. It seems to be too much click and save for me. At first I found HDR Pictures very fascinating but as long as I see more and more from them I am no longer a fan of this technique. |

| photomatix was great but once I got nik hdr I haven't looked back. |

| I messed around with trials for a long time without ever being able to commit to one. Then I heard of Nik HDR and was blown away by what it can do. It isn't cheap, and in my case worked out very expensive as I first had to upgrade from PS Elements to CS5. But I certainly think my processing has improved since I bought it. Most of my recent entries were edited using Nik with a single raw. |

I use Photomatix light. Does the job and it's inexpensive.

The good Doctor is spot on. When most people say they don't like HDR, it's because all they have seen is the overdone clown puke. With a bit of care, you can use the technique to produce spectacular things.
I use Nik HDR Efex for mine. You have to be very careful with it at it's incredibly easy to overshoot and get crappy results. But it does have the U-Point technology which helps provide extra control.
I think all of the software packages have free trials, it's certainly worth downloading them to see which one you like best.

I use Photomatix. I dislike the cartoonish HDR images I see from time to time. Photomatix lets me work anywhere along the spectrum from cartoon to reality. This image was produced from 7 originals using Photomatix.

I'm not a hge fan of HDR, but have bought a new lens (Nikon 16-35 f4 VR) and I'm starting to play with some HDR landscapes.
I want to buy a program for this but I'm not shure which one.
Please give me your feedback!
