Posting this one more time for the DPC members in Northern Ohio.
Noteworthy Reminder
Several members have asked me to remind them of an upcoming event in Cleveland, Ohio. I decided to post it so that neighboring photographers can add it to their "to do" list. Could also turn into a Northeast Ohio GTG.
Saturday, 11 am to 4 pm, June 11th; Cleveland University Wade Oval, University Circle, "Parade on the Circle," is definitely a photography event showcasing the work of over 1000 professional and amateur artists. Parking is Free.
No fire trucks, no floats, not motorized vehicles of any kind, no commercial sponsorship. Recycled material only. Parade the Circle is probably the most unique event you've seen. It's a mile long celebration of art and music from around the world, this year featuring Giant Puppets from Hindu Mythology.
Neat photo op: While the parade itself is a great photo opportunity, the great images are captured in the staging area on the roof of the Museum of Art's parking lot.
If you are in or around Cleveland, Ohio June 11th, make it a "must see."
